What is this game?
Glad you asked! This is a collaborative microrpg, or in other words a very small and silly roleplaying game meant to be picked up and learned, played, and enjoyed without beating around the bush. You make a little frog or toad character and explore the garden, meeting other little creatures and overcoming natural obstacles as a team. What really gives these kinds of games life is your imagination. Without that, this is all just words on a page. No rpg is truly finished until you, the lovely person reading this, brings it to life with imagination.
Do I need a DM?
No DM/GM needed! Play this game with friends, with nobody feeling left out! No friends to speak of? That's okay, there's a solo mode included! Bored of the same old same old? You can try out the roguelite map for a little extra variety. Worried about fighting at the table? This game is co-op only! There's not really any fighting to begin with, let alone between fellow players. The point is to be cozy, after all!

Every copy of Tod & Froggë comes with 3 rules hacks, which are small variants that change up the gameplay and give you different scenarios to play through!
How it Works
You’ll just need the rulebook, a set of standard polyhedral dice (or a digital dice roller), and some paper to write and draw on.
In Tod & Froggë, every action is resolved by rolling a six-sided die. If it comes up 4-6, you succeed. If it comes up 1-3, you fail. Each froggë and tod has different skills and items, however, which can add bonuses to various rolls!
Every turn takes place on a Tile, which advances your group of snackish amphibians through the varied landscape that makes up the garden. You'll never quite know what is coming up on the next tile as each is generated turn by turn!
The stakes? The strawberries will go overripe in 3 days' time, and there are many things that can delay or block even the most determined froggë or tod. Get to the patch before you run out of days, and you have achieved a most sweet victory!
